The Late retired police officer cum politician was an honest and straightforward gentleman, who possessed an unique blend of discipline, honesty, integrity and sincerity who later- on had his “Police boots” on the ground experiencing the art of politics.
His background signifies him as a social work who had the skills and capabilities of upholding the “Rule of Law” and solving complicated and intrigued problems which were of social, religious and political nature..
We had an unforgettable memories of dialogues, discussions and mind- bending episodes when he was an honorable member of our party – ” All Ceylon Makkal Congress.”
As he always possessed a smiling face, we pray and supplicate that he may be resurrected yet with the same emoji and beam, along with our recitation of ” INNA LILLAHI WA INNA ILAYHI RAJI’UN “
